
Jocelyn is a BAS student at Georgia State University. She will be graduating with a degree in English, a concentration in Creative Writing, and a minor in Editing and Publishing. She has experience in proofreading, copyediting, developmental editing, and acquisition for publication.
At the moment, she is completing a practicom for Five Points as well as managing an art and literature journal, NuEpoca.
Interests include copyediting, proofreading, line editing, and developmental editing.
Jocelyn Osoria is an inspiring editor and accomplished student. She is the first in her family to graduate highschool and attend university. Her journey with the world of reading began at age 2, when she would 'read' books upside down. Since then, she has maintained a consistent and passionate interest in creative writing, particularly literary fiction and non-fiction. Jocelyn hopes to extend this passion by offering new perspectives in the landscape of editing and publishing; with a unique background, she is sure to bring fresh ideas and high energy to the table.
Her favorite titles include Catcher in the Rye, Like Water for Chocolate, The Glass Castle, A Moveable Feast, and Wait Until Spring, Bandini.
