My name is Jocelyn Osoria. I attend Georgia State University where I study English with a concentration in Creative Writing and a minor in Editing and Publishing. 

 

I’m an emerging publishing professional and current undergraduate with a passion for storytelling, digital media, and the creative process behind bringing ideas to life. With hands-on experience in social media management, blogging, and editorial work, I’ve developed a strong eye for detail and a clear, engaging writing style. Whether I’m refining a manuscript, curating content for online audiences, or shaping a cohesive brand image, I enjoy creating work that resonates with the audience. I’m eager to continue growing in the publishing and content creation space, contributing my creativity, adaptability, and collaborative spirit to teams that value thoughtful, well-crafted work.

I am engaged in a variety of roles. I am an intern for Five Points Literary Journal, where I am responsible for: 

• SEO optimization 
• Social Media
• Proofreading 
• Copyediting 

In this role, I am exercising many of my different skills to bring together technical and creative success. 

 

In addition, I am the Editor in Chief of NuEpoca Journal, which I founded Aug, 2025. This is a passion project that I am proud to have launched by doing the following: 

• Scouted talent. 
• Solicited submissions from skilled authors and artists. 
• Networked with creative professionals. 
• Managed the overall project including setting deadlines, assigning tasks, and supervising completion. 

• Created Social Media posts, captions, and promoted material using data, trends, and audience feedback. 

I am seeking new opportunities to expand my skills and grow within a role.
