My poetry revolves around contemporary issues on a personal and universal level. 

Having grown up in single mother household, whom was an immigrant, and three other siblings, expressing myself through poetry was my primary outlet. I carry that childhood tradition by writing poetry about my struggles coming of age impoverished and in an societal era of instability.
